This is our lightweight top rack with full size side mount luggage attach brackets. It will accept the RTE soft bags, large & small, the Wolfman gags or the RTE hard panniers. It is also available with passenger foot pegs as an option.

New and improved! This is an integrated top rack with pannier brackets designed to carry up to 60 lbs / 27 kg of load securely with out damaging the subframe. This is due to the unique design of the rack. Made of welded .75 inch /19 mm diameter steel tube powdercoated satin black. It attaches to the frame at existing bolt points. Installation hardware and instructions are supplied. The luggage brackets now fit both the standard 35 liter and 22 liter RTE soft bags, Wolfman Expedition Dry Bags, and others. Additionally, the RTE 35 liter hard panniers can now be attached. Adapter plates are also available for carrying fuel and water in RotoPax cans.

Weight of rack = 9 lbs. Install time 20 minutes.

As of 22 July 2014 this rack has integrated attach points for the RotoPax mounts. This means you do not need the 300169 Top Plate for attachment of RotoPax.

This rack will fit the following KTM models of 250 cc and up from 2008 to present. Note - A small cutout in rear fender is required for attachment on 2008 - 2011 models. If you have application questions, call us or check the KTM fiche for the subframe on your model.

Continental Divide ride

I got this rack for my 2016 KTM 500exc. I set the bike up to ride from Mexico to Canada on the CDT. The rack fits great, very strong, but not too heavy. I used Rigg Gear dry saddle bags. It was a great trip. I highly recommend this rack if you are going to dual sport and adventure ride and want full size saddle bags and camping gear.

TOP RACK WITH PANNIER BRACKETS KTM 250-525 2008 THRU 2016 and Heat Shield Review

I purchased this rack and heat shield for my plated 2015 KTM 350-XCF-W to complete the NEBDR. The rack is well constructed and is very sturdy. I had it installed in about a half hour and it carried two loaded panniers, a two gallon RotoPax and a large duffle that contained all of my equipment to be self-sufficient for this eight day trip (only took six days). In total, I carried around 70 lbs. during then entire trip and did not have one issue. Upon my return home, I was able to remove the rack from my bike and reinstall OE hardware in 15 minutes. The heat shield is also well constructed, fit perfectly and protected the pannier with no damage at all from my exhaust.

Stellar craftsmanship and customer service

I realized late in the game that I wanted a pannier bracket system on my 2014 KTM 500 exc before my Idaho BDR trip this summer (July, 2021). Globetrottin/George went above and beyond in both communication and craftsmanship to deliver a rack to me in a short period of time. It withstood my 1000 mile ride flawlessly- supporting my MoskoMoto Reckless 80 luggage system, and giving me many additional tie down points for rokstraps and to bring my camp chair, etc. on trail. My trip was a huge success and in part due to this luggage rack! George- THANK YOU for everything! You gave 110% and I'm so appreciative.
